After all this time (33yrs!) and with deep regret we are hanging up our boots and no longer offering motorcycle training.
We officially closed 30th Sept. 2017

We'd like to thank our customers, who gave us that top reputation, our local dealers for their ongoing support and our neighbours too, for putting up with us!
It's been fun.

Of course we know the "pecking order" so, if you want a recomendation we can advise other good schools:-

Ashford area - Dexterity Motorcycle Training on 01233 621536

Canterbury area - Invicta Motorcycle Training on 01227 752459

Dover area - Kent Motorcycles (Barham) on 01227 832601

Thanet area - SEMT on 01843 596960

We're leaving the website up in the meantime, as it's a pretty good resource with lots of info. but won't be renewing when times up.

Goodby to all.

Not Sure about biking? Then book a "Taster Session" first.
We're the approved Get On Yer Bike training venue, so you can be assured of top quality.

There is a £20 fee for a "Taster" but that fee is then deducted from the CBT course, so effectively free but you will start your CBT with confidence and have more fun on the day!

New to Biking, or just a bit wobbly?

Since 1984 we've been offering a range of training courses at our Kent based facilities; always taught to the highest standard. We are acknowledged Industry Leaders in motorcycle training.
Yes, of course you'll want to compare our Course Prices (superb value) but also check out the quality. Ask around, we have the "top notch" reputation.

How good are we?
Well, everyone will big themselves up but who else can say:-

When the "New Motorcycle Test" was being introduced, only 3 Motorcycle Trainers were chosen by the Driving Standards Agency to represent the Motorcycle Training Industry and actually sit in on the DSA's own Examiner Training for the new test.
Channel Rider Training were one of those few and ultimately, only the Channel Rider Training "Instructor Guidance Notes for The New Test" were agreed by the DSA and were then published throughout the industry.
The latest, revised guidance for May 2011 was, once again, by us.

There's a reason why we're probably the longest established school in the UK.
